The Soca Valley stretches 96 kilometers from the Triglav National Park down to the Italian border, following Slovenia's most famous river. The valley splits into distinct sections - the upper valley around Bovec feels wild and mountainous, while the lower stretch near Kobarid opens into gentler hills dotted with vineyards.
