The Trip
Eclectic, travel-obsessed boutique. Colorful, bohemian, unapologetically quirky. The kind of place that puts a calisthenics parkour on the roof alongside a Finnish sauna.
Request a higher floor or courtyard-facing room if you're a light sleeper — the street outside gets lively after dark.
Why It Matters
The entire hotel is a love letter to travel. Local artist Michael Dreher and Morgen Interiors designed rooms dedicated to destinations from Afghanistan to Antarctica to Peru. The free minibar in every room is a rare touch. And the rooftop — Finnish sauna, skyline views, oversized chess pieces — is genuinely memorable.
25hours Hotel The Trip is a 152-room design hotel in Frankfurt's Bahnhofsviertel — the former red-light district turned eclectic food-and-bar neighborhood. Frankfurt artist Michael Dreher and designers Morgen Interiors went full world-traveler on the concept: every floor is themed around a different expedition (Arctic, tropics, mountains), rooms are named after far-flung destinations, and the lobby mural features a plane. It's genuinely fun, and it earns the Green Key environmental certification to boot.

Regular programming including concerts, readings, yoga sessions, pizza-making and pottery workshops. Schedule changes frequently — check the events page before your stay.
An on-site cinema space ideal for private screenings and unique events for up to 100 people. Can be booked for meetings and occasions.
An outdoor calisthenics parkour on the 6th-floor terrace. Jump, vault, climb and roll with Frankfurt's skyline as a backdrop. Genuinely fun and free for guests.
Daily sauna access on the rooftop (6th floor), running from 4:30pm to 10:30pm. Overlooking the Frankfurt skyline. Included for hotel guests.
The hotel keeps a fleet of Schindelhauer bikes — a respected German brand — in various models and sizes. The rental comes with a map of pre-curated cycling routes along the Main river and into Frankfurt's green surroundings. A genuinely useful amenity for exploring the city at a slower pace.
Eight height-adjustable desks available to book by the hour or by the day. 24/7 access, kitchen use, cold drinks, and fast WiFi included. Open to hotel guests and non-guests alike. The name is a wink — not a reference to the legendary nightclub's business hours.
