Five rooms in a two-storey Civil Lines guesthouse, each named for a gemstone. The place was conceived by legendary Jaipur jeweler Munnu Kasliwal of Gem Palace, built by French architect Georges Floret, and decorated by Lebanese designer Nur Kaoukji — parrots and palm trees hand-painted across the walls, mirrored headboards, Rajasthani craft in every corner. No TVs anywhere. No pool. But the garden glows with lanterns at night, the library is genuinely special, and breakfast on the terrace is the kind of meal you think about later.

The largest suite by feel if not by footprint. Milky pink and lilac tones inspired by the gem, a deep soaking tub (the only one in the property), walk-in shower, and the kind of calm that makes checking out feel like a hardship. Minibar, coffee machine, and in-room safe are suite-only perks.

Perched on the second floor, Peridot is a single room that punches above its size.
