Why It Matters

Al Habtoor Palace Budapest occupies the historic Adria Palace on Erzsébet tér, right in the heart of the city. Al Habtoor Group has owned the building since 2016 (it ran as the Ritz-Carlton until 2025), and in February 2025 they relaunched it under their own ultra-luxury brand — the first Arab hospitality brand in Europe. The building is early 20th-century grandeur: ashlar stone, wrought-iron details, a stained-glass dome in the Kupola Lounge.
