Alila Diwa Goa is a 5-star Hyatt resort spread across 12 acres of working paddy fields in Majorda, South Goa. Tour a working feni distillery — Goa's most iconic spirit made from cashew apple or coconut palm sap. Meet the distiller, learn the fermentation process, and taste feni properly. Involves wading in shallow water, so wear casual clothes. Transportation to the distillery is an additional cost.
Follow a winding village path before dawn to a neighborhood bakery where a local Poder (baker) family teaches you to knead and shape traditional pão in a clay oven. Chai and local savory snacks included. One of the most authentic local experiences the resort offers.
