The first hotel ever opened under the globally recognised Buddha-Bar brand — the famed Paris-born nightclub and dining concept founded in 1996 by Raymond Visan. Prague was the debut property, and it proved the concept translates well beyond cocktail bars.
Born from the global Buddha-Bar restaurant brand in 2009, this 38-room boutique five-star occupies a quiet Old Town lane just 3 minutes from Old Town Square. Everything leans into the theatrical: genuine Macassar wood furniture, red lacquer, gold accents, cut-glass lamps, and a curated Buddha-Bar music library in every room. The underground Buddha-Bar restaurant — two levels, resident DJs, and an iconic giant seated Buddha — is the social heart of the hotel, but the rooms stand on their own as genuinely luxurious spaces.

The largest and most dramatic room in the hotel at 78 m2 — occupying the top attic floor. The interconnected attic rooms have skylights and a working fireplace, with glazed passages into the bathroom. Elements of fire, air, and water are deliberately designed into the space. Old Town rooftop views and a designer whirlpool bath. This is the suite you book when you want to feel like you're living in the hotel rather than just sleeping in it.

Dharma Suite
Named after one of the Three Jewels of Buddhist philosophy. A corner suite at 58 m2 with a proper living room — the kind of space where you actually want to spend time beyond sleeping. Premier Room
A step up in space (approx. 40 m2) and a noticeable one: the bathroom has its own window, making the dragon-mosaic bath ritual considerably more pleasant. Views onto Jakubská Street with the distinctive feel of a medieval Old Town lane outside. Same premium kit as the Superior — Subzero bar, Nespresso, surround-sound — plus the added breathing room. The early-booking package for this room throws in one night of free valet parking plus a €50 spa credit for stays of two nights or more.

The only room in the hotel with a private balcony, which makes it the most sought-after suite for warm months. At 61 m2, it has a walk-through bathroom and dressing room, hydromassage bath, and a King Size bed with a dragon motif on the headboard. Airy and social — designed for relaxing or entertaining small groups rather than shutting the world out.

Superior Room
The entry-level room, though calling it standard undersells it.
