The Luxury Suite on the third floor is the only room with a direct view of the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel — worth requesting specifically

Why It Matters

Michelin Key recipient for two consecutive years (2024 and 2025); home to Trazo 1810, one of Mexico's 250 best restaurants four years running; named #1 hotel in San Miguel de Allende on TripAdvisor; Food & Travel Mexico award for Best Boutique Hotel in a Pueblo Mágico or Colonial City; exclusive on-site Reserva de La Familia tequila cellar.

A 14-room colonial building on Calle Hidalgo that has been earning Michelin Keys — two of them, consecutively. The interiors take their cues from Spain's Alhambra fortress: vaulted ceilings, aged quarry stone floors, loom-woven rugs, antique wooden headboards, and cantera stonework throughout. Despite sitting on one of San Miguel's most central pedestrian streets (closed to cars on weekends), the hotel is genuinely quiet. Breakfast is cooked to order in the courtyard. The rooftop restaurant Trazo 1810 is a destination in its own right, with 360° views across the city's eight church domes. And below the hotel, a private tequila cellar run in partnership with Reserva de La Familia awaits — bookable by reservation only.
