Casa No Name
Exotic enchantress meets colonial art house — think globetrotting antiques, layered textures, and a sense that every object has a story.
Request the Naia Suite specifically to see the glass floor window looking into the old tunnel — it's the most unusual feature in any hotel room in Mexico
Why It Matters
Only hotel in San Miguel occupying a UNESCO World Heritage building. Deborah Turbeville's legacy permeates every room. The Naia Suite has a glass floor panel looking down into an abandoned 18th-century tunnel. Six rooms total — you will never feel like you're in a 'hotel.'
Six-room boutique hotel in a UNESCO World Heritage-listed 18th-century mansion on San Miguel de Allende's oldest street. Fashion photographer Deborah Turbeville lived here for over two decades and turned it into her personal atelier, receiving artists and celebrities and immortalizing the house in a photo book before her death. The original bishop's tunnels, a stunning courtyard mural by the same artist who painted the 'Sistine Chapel of the Americas,' Indian archways from a repurposed palace, and a Tibetan fountain make this feel less like a hotel and more like stepping into someone's extraordinary life. It became a boutique hotel in 2017.
