Claridge's has been one of London's great hotels since 1812, and it still feels like it knows something the rest of the world doesn't. The Mayfair landmark is all Art Deco — black-and-white chequered marble floors, gilded columns, brass banisters polished daily, Lalique glass everywhere. Claridge's Suite
Enormous — guests describe it as larger than a city apartment. Two bathrooms, a separate lounge, dining area, entrance hall, huge bedroom with dressing table and desk, the deepest bathtub you'll likely encounter, and even a Japanese electric toilet. All the Art Deco touches you'd hope for.
Corner Suite
The Corner Suite is a landmark room — bay windows, high ceilings, impeccable lighting, wooden furniture loaded with velvet cushions, and two emperor beds. Corner aspect means light floods in from multiple directions.
Mayfair Balcony Room
King bed, marble bathroom with brass fittings, and a private balcony looking out over Mayfair rooftops. The kind of room you photograph immediately upon arrival and then feel guilty about leaving.
Mayfair Terrace Suite
