Why It Matters
Possibly Lisbon's most guest-obsessed hotel. The complimentary perks here are extraordinary: free minibar replenished daily, two different guided walking tours every day, a complimentary welcome massage, evening wine tastings, soft-serve ice cream in the lobby, snacks all day, and cocktails on arrival. It also happens to sit on top of a genuine archaeological discovery — over 2,000 artefacts were uncovered during construction. No pool, though.
An 18th-century Pombaline building in Cais do Sodré that pulls off something rare: genuine five-star service inside a hotel that actually has personality. The 75 rooms — all different thanks to the quirks of the original architecture — are done in warm browns and beiges with azulejo tile details and chromotherapy showers. On the lower level, a preserved 33m² section of the 14th-century Fernandina Wall sits inside the Sala Fernandina reading lounge. The hotel opened in 2017 and has since become one of Lisbon's highest-rated properties on TripAdvisor.

The entry-level room overlooks Largo do Corpo Santo square directly below. Like all rooms here, no two are alike thanks to the Pombaline building's architecture. Decorated in warm browns and beiges with traditional azulejo tile touches. Bathroom includes a chromotherapy shower.

Located on floors 2–4, the Premium category adds a 4K TV and comes with some rooms featuring a small balcony. Chromotherapy system in the bathroom. Same Pombaline irregularity means each room has its own character.
Suite
There are 8 suites in total. Top-floor suites offer panoramic views of the Cais do Sodré square and the Tagus River. Guests describe them as very spacious and peaceful. Full amenity lineup including Nespresso, complimentary minibar, pillow menu, Bluetooth speakers, and Molton Brown toiletries.
Superior Deluxe Room
The largest standard room category at up to 43m². Large and bright with feather duvets, Molton Brown amenities, and a bathtub with chromotherapy (in addition to or instead of a shower). Views over the Corpo Santo square or Travessa do Cotovelo. Comes with a hair dryer and straightener. Some have a small desk.
