Two adjoining 18th-century colonial houses in San Miguel's UNESCO historic centro, transformed by architect Alberto Laposse into an 11-room adults-only boutique hotel. The bones are colonial — stone walls, original wood-beamed ceilings, courtyard gardens — but Laposse layered in midcentury modern furniture and contemporary Latin American art throughout. A third building added later houses IRIS Spa, and the on-site restaurant Áperi has become a proper local institution with its own following.

Queen or KingRooftop Suite Mountain View
The largest room in the house. Single-floor layout with a king bedroom, a large marble bathroom with soaking tub and a retractable ceiling, and a proper living room with sofa-bed. The private rooftop terrace has a jacuzzi and a full outdoor dining setup — good for breakfast or sundowners. Mountain views instead of town views, which is a trade-off worth knowing about. Ideal for a small family or guests who want maximum space.

A spacious rooftop suite with a private terrace angled toward the heart of the city — the Parroquia and the centro histórico spires are right there. King bed, double shower in the bathroom, and an outdoor dining area on the terrace. Third person option via sofa-bed.
