Why It Matters
Created by the same team behind Hôtel Providence (10th arr.), L'Eldorado is rare in Paris for having a genuine, lush courtyard garden with mature palms. One top-floor suite has a private sauna. The restaurant is open to the public and genuinely worth the trip on its own. No pool, no spa — luxury here is about atmosphere, not facilities.
L'Eldorado is a 4-star boutique hotel tucked into the Batignolles quarter of the 17th arrondissement, close to Montmartre and SoPi but far enough away to feel like you're actually living in Paris rather than visiting it. The interiors are maximalist in the best possible way — House of Hackney wallpapers, Art Deco light fixtures, Persian-inspired textiles, 1950s lattice-work sideboards — all somehow cohering into something that feels designed rather than chaotic. The real trump card is the courtyard garden, lush with palms, hydrangeas, wisteria and roses, where the restaurant spills out on warm days.

Jardin Deluxe Room
At 23 sqm, these are larger rooms in the hotel's Pavilion at the bottom of the garden. Palms, hydrangeas, wisteria and roses grow right outside the windows. Expect bathtubs or small living areas — more space, better views, and that rare sense of being surrounded by greenery in Paris.
