Why It Matters
One of the few design-forward hotels in Munich where the colour palette is a genuine statement rather than an afterthought. Eurostars Grand Central is a full-throttle design hotel that traded the beige-and-bland playbook for bold purples, oranges, and reds. Opened in September 2009, it spreads across 16,000 square metres on Arnulfstrasse in Munich's Maxvorstadt district — close enough to the Hackerbrücke S-Bahn stop (20 metres from the door) to make airport arrivals and city exploration genuinely painless. It's a big, business-focused property with 247 rooms, a small wellness area, and a restaurant that's currently scaled back to breakfast and bar service only.
