by Marriott Busan Songdo Beach
Modern, minimal beachfront — practical comfort without resort pretension. Bright, glass-heavy public spaces, consistent Marriott Bonvoy standards, and a location that puts Songdo's quieter, more local energy front and center.
Book a Deluxe High Floor room — the upgrade in view is dramatic and worth it for the panoramic cable car and beach perspective
Why It Matters
Songdo Beach is Busan's original public beach — quieter and more local than Haeundae — and this hotel has arguably the best positioned rooms on it. Every room faces the sea, the Busan Air Cruise cable cars pass within view, and guests get a discount on cable car tickets just by showing their room key. The 22nd-floor Songdo Kitchen breakfast with panoramic water views punches well above the price point.
A 22-floor beachfront hotel sitting directly on Songdo Beach — Korea's first public beach — with floor-to-ceiling windows in every room framing unobstructed views of the Korea Strait and the Busan Air Cruise cable cars gliding above the water. The hotel opened in 2019 and keeps things clean and modern: Technogym fitness center, Songdo Kitchen restaurant on the top floor, and a 23rd-floor rooftop photo zone. No pool, no spa, no bar — but the beach is a one-minute walk, a GS25 convenience store sits right in the lobby, and dozens of seafood spots line the promenade within easy walking distance.

How you'll actually spend your days.
The hotel has a dedicated photo zone on the 23rd floor rooftop, popular with Instagram-focused guests looking for elevated views of the beach and bay.
The Songdo Marine Cable Car (Busan Air Cruise) station is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. The cable car travels 1.62 km across the sea, up to 86 meters above water, from Songnim Park to Amnam Park. Hotel guests receive a ticket discount by showing their room keycard. Two cabin types: standard and Crystal (glass floor). Prices run roughly 17,000–25,000 KRW depending on cabin type.
Accessible from Amnam Park station at the end of the cable car ride. Four trails of varying difficulty snake through the park with ocean viewpoints at regular intervals. The longest trail is about 2.9 km. Easy to combine with a cable car round trip for a half-day outing.
24-hour Technogym-equipped gym on the 3rd floor. At 66 sqm it's compact but functional with treadmills, elliptical machines, exercise bikes, free weights, and strength machines. Complimentary towels and bottled water provided.
Korea's first public beach is a one-minute walk from the hotel's front door. The beach curves gently along the bay and is notably cleaner and less crowded than Haeundae. Swimming, beach walking, and watching the cable cars pass overhead are all part of the daily rhythm here.
A 365-meter glass-floor skywalk built above the ocean, connecting Songdo Beach to Turtle Island (Geobukseom). Free to access and steps from the hotel. The views back toward the hotel and cable car are excellent, and the walk takes about 20–30 minutes at a leisurely pace.
