The original Astir Palace opened in 1961 on the Vouliagmeni peninsula, drawing legends like Aristotle Onassis, Jackie Kennedy, and Brigitte Bardot. Four Seasons took the reins and turned it into a 75-acre (30-hectare) beach resort with three private beaches, 10 restaurants and bars, and a 1,400 sqm spa — all 30 minutes from downtown Athens. The property is split across three distinct zones: the retro-chic Arion building, the see-and-be-seen Nafsika building, and the secluded original Bungalows.
