Bogotá
Contemporary urban luxury with strong Colombian design identity. Clean lines, neutral tones, rich green accents, local craftsmanship throughout. Think sleek and residential, not grand-lobby bombast.
The three buildings are only connected at lobby level — after check-in, you'll use a separate elevator or staircase depending on which building your room is in. Quirky but adds to the residential feel.
Why It Matters
Designed by Rottet Studio (Interior Design Hall of Fame), the hotel uses indigenous Colombian cedar, beadwork, and artwork by Colombian artists Pablo Tomayo, Alicia Garavito and José Antonio Suárez Londoño throughout. One of only two Four Seasons properties in Bogotá — this one covers the stylish Zona T crowd; Casa Medina handles the historic Zona G market.
Four Seasons Hotel Bogotá sits in a row of 1980s brick buildings in Zona Rosa — the city's upscale playground of shops, nightclubs and cafés. American design firm Rottet Studio overhauled the interiors completely, turning what could have been a bland luxury property into something genuinely cool: hand-carved cedar lattice screens, Colombian emerald-green color accents, local artwork and a 40-foot hand-beaded installation behind the bar. With only 64 rooms and suites spread across three low-rise buildings connected at lobby level, each floor has a maximum of seven units — it feels more like a very well-staffed apartment building than a hotel.
