Montreal
Contemporary urban luxury with Parisian design sensibility. Moody, sophisticated, and designed to be seen in. The lobby feels like a stylish friend's apartment, not a grand hotel atrium.
Ask for a room on a higher floor (11th or 12th) for views of Mount Royal and the Saint Lawrence River
Why It Matters
Forbes Five-Star Guerlain Spa — the only urban spa in Montreal offering Kneipp Hydrotherapy. Interiors by Gilles & Boissier. Executive Chef Jason Morris, recognized among Canada's Top 10 Chefs. Direct indoor access to Holt Renfrew Ogilvy. Art collection curated throughout the property.
A dark-glass tower rising over downtown Montreal's Golden Square Mile, the Four Seasons Montreal opened in 2019 and immediately became the city's most talked-about address. Paris-based design firm Gilles & Boissier handled the interiors, which means sensual materials, a suspended atrium sculpture by Pascale Girardin, and rooms that feel more like a chic loft than a corporate hotel. The third floor is the real social engine: an open-concept space combining Marcus Restaurant, an outdoor terrace, a lounge, and a bar that evolves into a late-night destination.
