Why It Matters
The first MGallery in Sub-Saharan Africa. The entire design concept flows from the owners' gemstone business — executed by the internationally renowned Sundukovy Sisters (S+S). Signature installations like the Gem Waterfall and the 360-degree transparent bar make it architecturally distinct. The KOS Paris spa treatments use crystal-infused rituals and gemstone face yoga. Sitting right on the boundary of Karura Forest in Nairobi's diplomatic district, this design-forward boutique hotel is MGallery's first property in Sub-Saharan Africa. The owners' gemstone business shaped everything here — jewel-toned furniture, a signature Gem Waterfall, and a transparent 360-degree bar that anchors the lobby. The Sundukovy Sisters handled the interiors, weaving Kenyan artistry and gemstone references throughout 105 rooms and suites. Rooms face either the forest canopy or the city skyline, and Karura Forest trails effectively begin at the property line.
