Why It Matters
One of Egypt's newest true ultra-luxury properties, designed by WATG with Wimberly Interiors on a 33,000 sqm footprint. The culinary program is anchored by Chef Sergi Arola, who earned two Michelin stars in Madrid. And it's a Leading Hotels of the World member — a rare accreditation in Egypt.
Giza Palace is a large, brand-new five-star property in the Sheikh Zayed district of West Cairo, sitting roughly 21 km from the Pyramids and a short hop from the Grand Egyptian Museum. The architecture draws on classical Islamic design—grand colonnades, shadowed courtyards, a jaw-dropping marble lobby with lantern chandeliers — while the rooms are genuinely spacious by any standard. It's a proper luxury hotel with serious scale: 560 rooms, a 1,900 sqm spa, seven dining venues, and a Michelin-starred chef running the culinary show. Not the most central Cairo base, but that's a fair trade for the room sizes and the quiet.
