Owners Cécile and Stéphane Rives have spent decades building something genuinely special here: a 4-star boutique hotel where vaulted stone ceilings, coffered woodwork, and handcrafted ironwork sit alongside contemporary design comforts. No full restaurant — but the lounge bar's panoramic terrace facing those ancient ramparts is the main event anyway.

A step up from standard, offering a bit more breathing room. Same thoughtful medieval-contemporary decor with the full amenity set. Some feature vaulted stone ceilings. Private bathroom with shower and bathtub combination with rainfall showerhead.
Deluxe Room
Generously sized room with the hotel's most polished decor. Some rooms overlook the pool and garden. Features double washbasin, shower and bathtub with rainfall showerhead, separate toilet. Elegantly decorated with individually chosen furnishings.
Junior Suite
The hotel has 3 junior suites. Large suite with a lounge area and sofa bed. Full double washbasin bathroom with shower, bathtub, separate toilet. Two of the suites sit right at the pool's edge and have private terraces — those are the ones worth booking. One suite is adapted for reduced-mobility guests. Note: some reviewer comments flag that room 16 (labeled as a Junior Suite) is on the smaller side.
Standard Room
The entry-level room at the Hôtel du Château. Compact but individually decorated with air conditioning, LED flat-screen TV with satellite, safety deposit box, hairdryer, and free WiFi. Private bathroom with shower or bath. Some have separate toilets. Honest about the size — these are cozy rather than spacious.
Superior Room
Spacious room with refined contemporary decor blended with medieval architectural touches. Full amenity set including double washbasin bathroom, shower and bathtub, separate toilet, and a glass panel separating bathroom from the sleeping area.
