Why It Matters
Raphael Navot's design is genuinely distinctive — textured concrete walls, dusky colors, custom furniture, and artworks even in the entry-level rooms. The Herbarium bar and Ristorante National both draw non-guests, making it a real neighborhood destination. Part of La Clé Group, which also operates Hotel Le Bachaumont nearby.
Classic Haussmann on the outside — raw concrete, velvet banquettes, and oxidised iron pipes on the inside. Designer Raphael Navot took inspiration from the engineering school down the road (the Musée des Arts et Métiers) and ran with it: 64 rooms across six floors, each one a study in noble materials like terrazzo, granite, poured concrete, and solid wood. The Ristorante National pulls in Parisians for Italian food under a retractable glass roof. The Herbarium bar hides behind a secret door and serves botanical cocktails until 2am.

Garden Suite
Enormous by Paris standards. At 60 sqm, it has a 22 sqm bedroom with twin beds, a 40 sqm living room with velvet sofas, a dining table, kitchenette, and an 18 sqm private terrace overlooking the courtyard. Can seat up to twelve guests for a private dinner. First floor location.

The most distinctive standard room type. Perched on the top floor at 33 sqm, it has a Parisian workshop-style skylight that pours natural light in and frames views of the rooftops. Sitting area with sofa, armchairs, and coffee table. Bathtub in the terrazzo bathroom — a step up from the shower-only rooms below.

Le Penthouse
The hotel's centrepiece at 100 sqm on the top floor. King-size bed in the master bedroom facing the courtyard, a second room with sofa beds for up to four children, a double living room with fireplace, separate dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. The 10 sqm private terrace looks out over Parisian rooftops and the church below. This is the one you book when you want to feel like you actually live in Paris.

At 26 sqm, the Studio adds a proper living area — sofa, coffee table, armchairs — to the standard room formula. Sits on an upper floor with natural light and rooftop views. Some configurations are PRM-accessible. Extra bed available for €75.
