Hidden Pond is a 60-acre private luxury resort set deep in a birch and balsam fir forest outside Kennebunkport — but don't let the woodland setting fool you into thinking rustic means rough. Two outdoor pools, a three-room treetop spa perched eight feet above the forest floor, and the award-winning Earth restaurant make it a genuine destination resort. Accommodations are individually named and styled cottages, bungalows, and treetop lodges scattered across the grounds, each with its own fireplace and screened porch. Goose Rocks Beach is a quick bike ride away.

Bungalow (Todd Snyder Design)
Adults-only one-bedroom bungalows designed by American menswear designer Todd Snyder, available in three concepts: Countryside, Mountainside, and Seaside — all drawing from Snyder's trips across Maine. At 650 sq ft, the bungalows are compact but extraordinarily finished: floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, plush king bed, screened porch with daybed, outdoor rain shower, and a spacious marble bathroom with expansive forest-facing windows.

The From Away Lodge
Hidden Pond's most distinctive accommodation. A two-bedroom treetop lodge designed by Todd Snyder, celebrating Maine's heritage with L.L.Bean upholstery, industrial accents, and a color palette drawn from his 'From Away' runway collection. Snyder even partnered with Kennebunkport's Sea Love Candles to create a signature fragrance you notice the moment you step inside. Décor Maine called it 'an instant classic, a bespoke respite in the Maine woods.'

Inspired by treehouses and mountainside retreats, Treetop Lodges come as a combined studio and one-bedroom suite, sleeping up to five guests. Each unit features a soothing palette of natural colors and earthy elements. Includes a wet bar, screened porch, outdoor shower, Frette linens, flat-screen TV, and Bose sound system. There are 10 Treetop Lodges on property.

Single-story two-bedroom cottages freshly redesigned for 2026 in collaboration with Providence-based Superette Studio, each reflecting one of two design stories: 'Maine Coast' or 'Woodlands.' Features a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, spacious living room with gas fireplace, flat-screen TV, two full bathrooms, outdoor shower, and screened porch. Pullout sleep sofa in the living room. Select units are dog-friendly (bunk cottage variant).
