High Road House
Low-key members' club meets West London neighbourhood bolthole. Smart-casual crowd, media types, local families. Feels more like a really good friend's house in Chiswick than a hotel.
Book the Playroom if budget allows — at 28 sq m with a freestanding Victorian bath and rooftop views, it's a very different experience from the standard Tiny rooms
Why It Matters
The smallest Soho House hotel in the world — only 14 rooms — with full access to the members' club spaces upstairs. Non-members can stay but must purchase a Soho Friends membership to complete their booking. The publicly accessible High Road Brasserie on the ground floor has been a Chiswick institution since 2007.
High Road House is Soho House's smallest and most low-key outpost — 14 bedrooms tucked above the ground-floor brasserie on Chiswick High Road. Originally designed by Ilse Crawford, the interiors lean on mid-century and Art Deco references: wood-panelled walls, a vintage brass-and-marble bar, graphic tiled floors, and velvet accents. It opened in July 2007 on the site of the historic Foubert's Hotel, and the neighbourhood feel is real — this is not the flashy Soho or Dean Street version of the brand.

How you'll actually spend your days.
A curated contemporary art collection displayed throughout the house, including works by Elizabeth Price, Ryan Gander, and Mark Wallinger. An art map is downloadable from the hotel's information page.
A regular programme of member events runs throughout the week — typical Soho House mix of talks, screenings, creative workshops, and social nights.
Table football, board games, and a large TV with Sky+ for sports screenings. On Friday and Saturday nights there's a DJ. Open all day with waiter service for members and hotel guests.
Multiple bookable spaces including the Lower Ground (capacity up to 120 standing, with private bar, dance floor, and sound system), a Side Room for private dining up to 12 guests, and the Playpen lounge for informal groups of up to 14.
Every Sunday from 10am to 3pm, childcare professionals run arts and crafts activities for children. A genuinely useful feature for guests travelling with kids, or members meeting friends who have them.
