A 17th-century colonial corner building in the heart of Cartagena's walled city, Casa del Coliseo runs just 12 rooms across three floors. The whole place was designed by Colombian-born, Miami-based interior designer Juan Carlos Arcila-Duque, who is also the proprietor — and it shows. Original timbered ceilings stay intact while everything else has been renovated to a luxury standard.
