Book a Fenway King room for direct ballpark views — you don't need to spring for the full Fenway Park Suite to see the park

Why It Matters

The only official hotel of the Boston Red Sox, literally steps from Fenway Park's gate. Credited with sparking the urban revival of Kenmore Square when it opened in 2001. The Fenway Park Suite with Balcony includes actual Fenway dirt, Green Monster scoreboard signage, and a walk-out balcony 507 feet from home plate.

Hotel Commonwealth sits directly across Commonwealth Avenue from Fenway Park — close enough that Fenway King rooms stare right into the ballpark. Opened in 2001 and credited with kick-starting the whole Kenmore Square revival, it's the official hotel of the Boston Red Sox and the only one with that designation. The look is contemporary with a classic colonial exterior: bold chevron carpets, plush modern furniture, a lobby fireplace, and 245 rooms that run genuinely large by Boston standards. No pool, but the rooms and bathrooms are spacious enough that you won't miss one.
