The Sibelius Suite — named after the composer who was a regular — has its own private sauna, a full kitchen, and a living room large enough to host dinner parties.
Hotel Kämp is Finland's original grand hôtel — opened in 1887, closed in 1967, and brought back to life in 1999. Sibelius drank here. European aristocracy slept here. And right now, it's in the middle of its biggest overhaul in decades, adding 31 new rooms, restoring the main Esplanade-facing entrance, and opening a brand-new spa in August 2026 — all while staying open throughout. The location is genuinely hard to beat: directly opposite Esplanade Park, a short walk from Senate Square, the harbour, and the best shopping in the city.

The entry-level room at Kämp still arrives with a marble bathroom, a 52-inch Smart TV, minibar, safe, down comforter with pillow menu, and Chromecast streaming. Views are either over the city or the inner courtyard. Small by grand hôtel suite standards, but well-appointed.

Deluxe Twin
Same spec as the Deluxe Room but configured with two beds. Good for colleagues or friends travelling together who want separate sleeping space without stepping up to a suite.

The legendary Mannerheim Suite is currently under restoration and is expected back in summer 2026. Named after Finland's national hero, Marshal Mannerheim. Not bookable at time of writing.
