Hotel Saint Cecilia is a 20-room luxury retreat set on a lush, walled estate in Austin's Travis Heights neighborhood — one block from the South Congress strip. Built in 1888 as the Miller-Crockett House and reopened by Bunkhouse Hotels in 2008, the property draws its entire aesthetic from late 1960s and early 1970s rock 'n' roll opulence. Named for the patron saint of music and poetry, it's the kind of place where every room has a Rega turntable, a lending library of vintage LPs and rock biographies, and a handmade Hästens mattress. It's private by design — the lounge, pool, and grounds are exclusively for hotel guests and members — which is exactly the point.
