Hotel Suitess
Old Dresden glamour meets understated boutique luxury. Ornate carpets, chandeliers, rich leather — maximalist without being garish. Couples and business travelers in equal measure. The feel is a high-ceilinged private home, not a hotel chain.

Why It Matters
Best-in-class location in Dresden — steps from the Frauenkirche with direct cathedral views from the top-floor rooms, restaurant terrace, and select apartments. A genuinely independent property managed with personal attention. Restaurant Moritz on the 5th floor has won the OpenTable Diners' Choice Award and previously held a Michelin star.
A small, fiercely private five-star superior hotel occupying a restored Baroque building directly beside the Frauenkirche on Neumarkt Square. The hotel has 22 or so rooms and suites, each individually decorated with hand-picked materials — French and Belgian antique furniture, Italian marble bathrooms, warm Biedermeier color palettes. There is no pool. But the rooftop restaurant, the gin bar downstairs, a proper spa with sauna and whirlpool, and that view of the cathedral dome make up for it.
