Why It Matters
A two-time Michelin Key recipient (2024 and 2025). The Magnificent Seven suites are each a completely different design world — no two look alike. The ZaSpa is one of the few hotel spas in Houston with a genuine local following. Opened in 2017, the hotel sits atop a luxury apartment tower (The McCarthy) owned by MetroNational.
Hotel ZaZa Memorial City is the west-side follow-up to the original Museum District property, and it brings its own distinct personality. Where the Museum District location leans ornate and almost Baroque, this one goes Palm Springs — clean lines, bright spaces, mid-century modern bones. Art is everywhere: David Hockney prints line the corridors, and every themed suite stakes out its own wildly different visual identity. It's a 159-room boutique hotel that actually commits to the boutique part.
