A hands-on gold leaf crafting session in a 200-year-old traditional townhouse in the Higashi Chaya-gai geisha district, arranged through the hotel. Using the same tools and materials as professional craftsmen, guests create the 'oborozuki (hazy moon)' pattern on a Yamanaka lacquerware plate. Ends with matcha tea and Japanese sweets from Morihachi confectioners. Private group format for 2–8 people.
The hotel has assembled over 100 unique artworks and handcrafted pieces rooted in Kanazawa's traditions, integrated throughout the public spaces and guest rooms. A digital art book documents the stories behind each piece. Staff can guide guests through the highlights.
