J.K. Place Paris is the Italian boutique group's first hotel outside Italy — five years of searching finally landed them a former embassy building on the quiet Rue de Lille in the 7th arrondissement. Just 29 rooms, all individually decorated by Florentine architect Michele Bönan, who layers Italian mid-century furniture with Parisian antiques sourced from the Marché aux Puces. The result feels less like a hotel and more like staying in the private home of someone with very good taste and a generous minibar.
