Jai Mahal Palace is an 18th-century royal residence turned 5-star heritage hotel, sitting on a remarkable 18 acres of landscaped Mughal gardens right inside the city of Jaipur. Originally built in 1699 and reconstructed in 1745, the palace was restored by Taj Hotels and now runs 94 rooms and 6 themed suites fitted with original Rajasthani artwork, period woodwork, and Forest Essentials bath products. Three restaurants, a poolside Italian, a royal Indian fine-dining room, and an all-day café keep you well fed without leaving the grounds.

The smallest rooms in the hotel but the most atmospheric.
