A 130-room boutique hotel sitting inside a thoughtfully renovated 16th-century building — originally a schoolhouse — right on cobblestone Las Mercedes Street in Santo Domingo's Colonial Zone, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Designed by award-winning firm Moneo Brock Architects, the property preserved original brick and stone while adding a modern structure behind the historic facade. It opened under the Kimpton flag in summer 2024, marking both Kimpton's first property in the Dominican Republic and its first operational partnership with Iberostar Group.
