Why It Matters
One of the few hotels in the world occupying a legitimate medieval complex within a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The buildings have hosted Grace Kelly, Salvador Dalí, Ursula Andress, and Pink Floyd. The Corsario Restaurant in the 10th-century corsair building is a serious destination in its own right. And Lázaro Rosa-Violán's interior work elevates every corner without erasing the history.
Three historic buildings — a 14th-century watchtower, a 10th-century corsair's house, and a 16th-century Jesuit convent — knitted together into a 26-room boutique hotel in Ibiza's UNESCO-listed Dalt Vila. Decorated throughout by star designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán, the place blends exposed stone walls and Moorish-meets-Christian architectural details with a crisp, minimalist Mediterranean palette. It's quiet here by design: Dalt Vila has no through traffic, which makes it genuinely the calmest address in Ibiza while still sitting above all the action.

QueenDeluxe Family Room
The top family option: two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a large private terrace with sea views. The terrace is the selling point — you get Ibiza sunrises and the whole port panorama from your own outdoor space. Sleeps up to four. King bed in the master, double in the second room.
KingDeluxe Room
Elegant, sunlight-drenched rooms in La Torre building. The Arab-meets-Christian architectural heritage shows up in the detailing — arched doorways, stonework, the odd ancient surprise in the walls. Queen bed, Smart TV, tablet, free minibar, bathrobe, slippers, and a bathroom that earns its keep.
QueenFamily Room
Two connected double bedrooms each with its own private bathroom — one room has a small window with sea views. Designed for families who don't want to bunk up. Comfortably sleeps four. Straightforward rather than spectacular, but well-designed for the practical reality of travelling with kids.

Located in Casa Puget (the former Jesuit convent), these rooms have beautiful views of the old town and native Mediterranean vegetation right outside. King bed, Smart TV, free minibar, luxury bathroom with all the usual extras. An invitation to relax and do very little — which in Ibiza is a radical act.

This is the room Lázaro Rosa-Violán clearly had the most fun with — the design details are a cut above everything else in the building.
