Le Negresco has been on the Promenade des Anglais since 1913 and there is genuinely nothing else like it on the Riviera. The Belle Époque building — pink dome, ornate white facade, doormen in 18th-century postilion hats — is a French National Historic Monument, and inside it reads less like a hotel and more like a national museum you happen to sleep in. Over 6,000 artworks spanning five centuries line the corridors and suites, from rare 17th-century portraits of French kings to works by Dalí and Niki de Saint Phalle. The centrepiece of the Salon Royal is a 4.6-metre Baccarat crystal chandelier — 16,800 crystals — originally commissioned by Tsar Nicholas II for the Kremlin. This is the last completely independent 5-star palace hotel in France.

Imperial Junior Suite
Room No. 415. Napoleon-themed, decorated with eagles, griffons, and Empire-style swan's neck bed and armchairs — the swan being Empress Joséphine's cherished emblem. One of Jeanne Augier's personal favourites.
Jeanne & Paul Penthouse Suite
The newest and most exceptional suite at Le Negresco, entirely reimagining the 6th floor. Named for Jeanne and Paul Augier, who transformed the hotel into what it is today. Poised between sky and sea, it blends the hotel's historic heritage with contemporary elegance in an entirely new chapter for the property.
Marie-Antoinette Suite
Part of the Signature Collection — the uppermost tier of named suites. Louis XVI-era design inspired by Marie-Antoinette's world, with exceptional period furniture and the refinement of Versailles brought to the Riviera.
Pompadour Junior Suite
