Why It Matters
Formerly AMERON Frankfurt Neckarvillen Boutique, rebranded to LUME and joined Marriott's Autograph Collection. The building itself — a protected ensemble of Gründerzeit villas — is genuinely rare in a city of glass towers. All rooms come with free minibars and TRECA Paris mattresses, even the smallest 14m² singles. Le Petit Royal, the on-site French grill restaurant, operates independently and has its own loyal following beyond hotel guests. Green Key certified since 2025.
Four heritage-listed late-19th-century villas in Frankfurt's Bahnhofsviertel, joined together into a 133-room boutique hotel. The design by Italian interior architect Luigi Fragola is neither Belle Époque nostalgia nor sterile minimalism — he landed on 1950s modernism viewed through a contemporary lens, with bold accent colors (greens, blues, deep reds), covered LED lighting, Rubelli Venezia fabrics, and marble bathrooms with brass fittings. It's 550 meters from Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof and genuinely walkable to the banking district, Alte Oper, and Goethestraße. But the immediate street is Bahnhofsviertel — lively, but not everyone's idea of a tranquil arrival.

Up to 30m² with a flexible spatial layout — the most generous footprint in the building. Double bed, a proper seating area, and the same Mühldorfer pillow menu as the Premium rooms. Amouage 'Reflection' toiletries. A few feature canopy beds, which look striking against the hotel's characteristic color-coded interiors (red, blue, or green accent palettes depending on the villa section).

Comfort Double Room
At least 19m², these are the step up from the singles and the most plentiful room type. Partly located under the eaves (sloping ceilings in some) or lower ground floor. The double bed plus the extra square footage makes them genuinely comfortable for a longer stay. Same full amenity set as the standard rooms — free minibar, Lavazza machine, tablet, TRECA mattress.

Premium Double Room
Averaging 28m² with an open-space concept that actually feels generous. Some rooms feature four-poster beds. The jump in size also means additional seating. Mühldorfer's full pillow menu is included — you can specify firmness preferences. Bathrooms step up to the Amouage 'Reflection' care series. Original Italian moldings and hand-picked color-accent décor make these feel like the rooms the designer really wanted to build.

The smallest rooms in the house, at about 14m². Some sit up under the eaves with sloping ceilings; others are on the lower ground floor. Good for short stays when you just need a solid base — the free minibar and TRECA Paris mattress show up here too. Bed is either a single (100x200cm) or a grand-lit double (160x200cm). Bathrooms are premium walk-in showers, no bathtub. Care products from The White Company 'Noir' series.
