Miiro Borneta is a Michelin Key Selected property opened in 2024 by InterGlobe Enterprises. It's the only hotel in El Born with a rooftop pool and an art commission programme. Volta Restaurant, helmed by Italian Executive Chef Andrea De Benedictis, is worth a visit even if you're not staying.
Miiro Borneta is a 92-room boutique hotel in Barcelona's El Born neighborhood, housed in a 19th-century building directly across from Parc de la Ciutadella. Opened in August 2024 as the second property from lifestyle brand Miiro, it was designed by London-based studio Thurstan with warm terracotta and olive green tones, Spanish antiques, and a curated local art programme. The vibe is relaxed members' club — jazzy common areas, a rooftop pool crowned by a bespoke Pilar Zeta egg sculpture, and a genuinely good restaurant.

The Borneta Suite
The hotel's top suite and the only room with exclusive rooftop pool access. Spacious terrace with Old Town views and an outdoor bathtub. Inside: large rainfall shower, separate lounge with double sleeper sofa, and a fireplace. Complimentary stocked minibar included.
KingThe Classic
The entry-level room, and some guests find it compact by modern standards. But what it lacks in size it makes up for in detail: hand-crafted bed, rainfall shower, reading corner with curated local artwork, warm terracotta tones.
The Corner
Corner position means two balconies and panoramic city views. Neighbourhood-inspired interiors with a particularly warm, rich feel. Tea/coffee, rainfall shower, reading corner.
The Junior Suite
Sleeps up to three. Opens onto a large furnished terrace with city views. Spanish antiques, local artwork, king-size bed, separate lounge area, and a marble-topped bathroom with a double vanity unit. Le Labo throughout.

Five individually designed suites with direct views over Ciutadella Park — the best park-facing rooms in the house. Sleeps up to three, with a king bed and separate lounge with sleeper sofa. The furnished terrace has an outdoor shower. A genuinely special room.
KingThe Signature
Larger rooms suited for longer stays. Beautiful city views, Le Labo products in the bathroom, rainfall shower, and a reading corner. A noticeable upgrade in floorspace from the Superior.
The Superior
A step up in space, with a private balcony offering city views. Locally sourced furnishings, hand-crafted queen bed, rainfall shower, and a reading corner. Good middle-ground option if Classic feels too tight.
The Terrace
Five rooms with large, fully furnished private outdoor terraces overlooking the city. Queen bed, reading corner, rainfall shower, and Le Labo products. The terrace is the real differentiator — genuinely usable space for morning coffee.
