Over 400 km of hiking trails directly from Zermatt, from gentle valley walks to serious alpine routes. The concierge team can advise on routes and conditions. The hotel rents out bikes in summer too.
The hotel's iconic red horse-drawn carriage meets guests at Zermatt train station and brings them to the hotel door. It also takes guests back to the station on departure. In some cases an electric car is used as an alternative.
