It's one of the only five-star resorts on Agios Ioannis beach, which is quieter and more residential than the party beaches of Paradise or Super Paradise. Mykonos Grand Hotel & Resort sits directly on Agios Ioannis beach — the one made famous by the 1989 film Shirley Valentine — with clear sightlines across the Aegean to the sacred island of Delos. Five acres of whitewashed Cycladic cube buildings spread across the hillside, which means guests aren't stacked on top of each other the way they are at more condensed Mykonos properties.
