Nobnocket Boutique Inn
Modern boutique design in a historic Arts & Crafts shell. Curated designer furniture, crisp white-and-bold-color palettes, marble-and-glass bathrooms. Intimate, residential, extremely personal — the owners live on property.
Breakfast is served 8:30–9:30am sharp — only one hour, old-fashioned B&B style. Set your alarm.
Why It Matters
Michelin Key award winner in 2024 and 2025. Multiple Condé Nast Readers' Choice Awards (2021, 2024, 2025). Condé Nast Johansens Excellence Awards 2024 & 2025. The island's only Condé Nast Johansens-listed property. Yankee Magazine 'Best Martha's Vineyard Inn 2019'. Ranked #1 B&B/Inn in Vineyard Haven on TripAdvisor with 232 reviews at 5/5.
A 1908 Arts & Crafts manor house on a bluff above Vineyard Haven, the Nobnocket is one of those places that immediately feels more like a friend's well-designed home than a hotel. Only 7 rooms, owner-run by English couple Annabelle and Simon Hunton, completely gut-renovated in 2016 with a sharp modern design sensibility — think Marcel Wanders and Philippe Starck pieces alongside polished hardwood floors and floor-to-ceiling glass bathrooms. Gourmet breakfast is cooked by Annabelle every morning and included in the rate, and the 1.8-acre wooded grounds feel worlds away from summer crowds even though the Vineyard Haven ferry dock is a short walk downhill.

The inn's 1.8 acres of gardens and woodland attract a wide variety of birds — red cardinals, blue jays, osprey, red-tailed hawks, northern flickers, goldfinches, downy and red-bellied woodpeckers, and wild turkeys that regularly wander the grounds.
Complimentary bicycles provided for guests to explore the island. The Eco Package includes use of two bikes for the full duration of the stay.
Croquet available on the inn's expansive great lawn. Multiple outdoor sitting areas and sun patios also available for relaxing in the gardens.
Complimentary garden yoga sessions offered in July and August. Yoga mats provided. Takes place in the inn's 1.8-acre grounds.
Owners Annabelle and Simon live on property and offer full concierge services for authentic local experiences — restaurant bookings, activity recommendations, and insider island knowledge from their years as Vineyard residents.
Boating excursions on a 27' Albermarle Dual Console with twin 250hp engines, captained by USCG-certified Captain Eamonn. Options range from a 3-hour North Shore tour (viewing Gay Head cliffs, celebrity houses, the old Brickyard, Menemsha Harbor) to a 5-hour trip that includes unspoiled beaches on the Elizabeth Islands and Cuttyhunk harbor. Two/three-hour sunset cruises also available. Maximum 6 guests.
