Noelle
Historic Art Deco building with a creative, music-city soul. Think original 1930s bones — brass fixtures, marble, arched windows — colliding with locally commissioned artwork, hickory hardwood floors, and a Hidden Bar tucked beneath Printers Alley. The place has real personality: it celebrates Nashville's makers, musicians, and lesser-known legends, not just the honky-tonk tourist circuit.

Why It Matters
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Five food and drink concepts under one roof, including a Prohibition-era speakeasy, a Chef Richard Sandoval Mexican restaurant (Lona), and a rooftop bar. Named to the Condé Nast Traveler 2025 Readers' Choice Awards and Travel + Leisure's Top 3 Nashville Hotels. The Archives — a mezzanine library preserving hundreds of artifacts from the building's history — is a genuinely unusual feature.
Noelle is a 224-room Art Deco boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Nashville, housed in a building originally constructed in 1930 as the Noel Place — one of the city's first luxury properties. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it reopened in late 2017 after a full restoration that kept the original crown moldings, Tennessee marble walls, terrazzo floors, and arching windows intact while layering in commissioned art, locally crafted furnishings, and five distinct drinking and dining concepts. Broadway is one block away, Ryman Auditorium is a five-minute walk, and Printers Alley runs right behind it.
