London
New York Jazz Age meets Victorian London. Think plush fabrics, oriental rugs, freestanding baths, curated artwork in every room, and a subterranean Latin American cocktail bar beneath a former police station. Bohemian but not chaotic — it's dark and sultry throughout, with real architectural bones.
Hilton Honors members (especially Diamond) can score meaningful room upgrades; book the Classic and ask at check-in.
Why It Matters
Housed in a historic Grade II-listed building with serious courtroom drama (Oscar Wilde, the Suffragettes), designed by the AD100 firm Roman and Williams, and home to Side Hustle — already on the World's 100 Best Bars list. The only NoMad hotel in Europe, now under Hilton's umbrella, and a past nominee for the World's 50 Best Hotels.
NoMad London sits inside the Grade II-listed former Bow Street Magistrates' Court and Police Station — the same building where Oscar Wilde was tried and where suffragettes were held in cells that are now spa treatment rooms. New York design studio Roman and Williams transformed the 19th-century structure into 91 rooms and suites, packing it with over 1,600 original artworks. The result is moody, dark hallways giving way to individually decorated rooms that feel more like a well-curated private home than a hotel. Directly opposite the Royal Opera House, it's the only NoMad left in Europe and one of London's most genuinely interesting luxury stays.

How you'll actually spend your days.
The hotel showcases over 1,600 original artworks throughout the property — in guest rooms, corridors, and public spaces. The Twenty8 NoMad restaurant features an art programme honouring 19th-century photographer Napoleon Sarony, best known for his theatrical portraits of Oscar Wilde.
A private guided tour for up to 4 people of the Bow Street Police Museum, housed within the historic building. The museum covers the site's history as one of London's most storied magistrates' courts and police stations — Oscar Wilde's trial, the Suffragettes, and more. Available as a gift voucher experience.
The concierge team handles restaurant and theatre reservations (West End is right on the doorstep), private car arrangements, and curated local recommendations. Given the location opposite the Royal Opera House, opera bookings are a natural speciality.
Over 800 square metres of event space including the original Magistrates' Courtroom (now the Magistrates' Ballroom), two adjacent private dining rooms, a separate bar, and a dedicated street entrance. Capacity for private events for groups of up to 100 in Side Hustle, and larger in the ballroom.
