Always book direct (official website or Marriott.com) for the complimentary Harukas 300 observatory ticket — it's a ¥2,000 value per stay

Why It Matters

The highest hotel in Japan's tallest building. All guest rooms start at floor 38 (198m above ground). Restaurant ZK sits at roughly 270m. The 162㎡ Imperial Suite is at 258m. Book direct and every stay includes a complimentary Harukas 300 observatory ticket — though honestly, the room views often make the deck feel redundant.

The Marriott name does very different work depending on where you find it. At Houston airport, it means one thing. Here, it means occupying floors 38 through 57 of Abeno Harukas, the tallest building in Japan at roughly 300 meters. Every single room sits at least 198 meters above street level. The views are the product. But the combination of Marriott's international standards with Miyako Hotels' Japanese omotenashi hospitality elevates this well beyond a typical chain stay.
