The hotel is a white villa-style property owned by the Malabar Escapes group, set in a manicured lakeside garden with 14 rooms and suites, an infinity pool, Ayurveda spa, and candlelit waterfront dining. Deluxe Room
Four rooms on the ground floor, each individually decorated with original art and antiques. Private terraces face the garden and the lake. Each has air-conditioning, a flat-screen TV, mini-bar, and an ensuite bathroom with both bath and shower, stocked with Rama toiletries and Holy Lama soap. Beds are dressed in fine linen with eclectic art and antique wood carvings on the walls.

Six suites averaging 60 sqm, set in the garden wing with private terraces facing the garden and lake. Three of the six are designated wellness suites with an in-room spa bed for treatments. Showcase original works of art and have larger living areas than the deluxe rooms.

The hotel offers a range of backwater experiences from an evening canoe ride to full-day excursions. A hotel shikara (traditional boat) can be hired for rides along the shores of Lake Vembanad and into the canal networks. A dedicated waterfront pavilion serves as the arrival and departure point.
Full-day backwater cruise on the Malabar Escapes Discovery houseboat, taking in the canals and lagoons of the Vembanad backwaters.
A tour of local coir factories in Muhamma, which is known as a centre for coir matting woven from coconut fibre. Staff can arrange the visit.
The hotel offers tuk-tuk tours around Muhamma village and to nearby Alleppey or local temples. Staff are knowledgeable about the area and happy to organise routes.
One-hour interactive cooking demonstration focused on Kerala cuisine. Guests learn techniques and recipes using local produce. Must be booked separately.
Bicycles are available on-site for exploring the local area and the village of Muhamma, known for its coir matting woven from coconut fibre.
A boat trip across the lake to the 14-acre Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, populated with waterfowl, herons, egrets, cormorants, owls, and seasonal migratory birds including Siberian cranes. The sanctuary is about 6.2 miles from the property.
Purity organizes yoga retreats for both groups and individuals on request. Daily Hatha yoga and meditation sessions are also incorporated into the Purespa Ayurveda retreat programs.
