An 18th-century Rajput palace perched on a hilltop in the Aravalli Range, 28 km northeast of Udaipur. The restoration — 15 years, 750 workers, original locally mined marble — delivered something genuinely unusual: a palace whose weathered stone exterior gives way to sparkling all-white minimalist suites inlaid with malachite, lapis lazuli, and mother-of-pearl. Marwari horse murals, mirrored ante-chambers, jharoka windows, and a thousand candles at night. But none of that traditional grandeur comes at the expense of comfort — heated pool, a serious Ayurvedic spa, and food grown in the chef's own garden.

The most spacious standard suite at 670–810 sq ft, set in the old Rajput palace wings. Devigarh Complex (Set of 2 Suites)
The top of the house. A massive two-bedroom complex at 4,585 sq ft with its own private pool — black marble. One of the suites is the 1,200 sq ft Devigarh Suite; the other is an adjoining Aravalli Suite. Sleeps up to 6. Can be booked as a single unit for total privacy or as an individual suite. There is only one.
Garden Suite
The entry-level suite, though 'entry-level' does not mean modest. Intricate green and white marble work throughout, overlooking the palace's most beautiful garden. Each has a private tented terrace or patio — loved by repeat guests for their chic simplicity and genuine quiet. 17 available, so the most likely to have availability.
Palace Suite
Stunning and individually designed — no two are the same. Spread over 650–721 sq ft, each has either a balcony or bay windows overlooking the village of Delwara and the Aravalli mountains. Recommended for first-time visitors wanting the full Rajasthani mystique. 6 available.
