The Riva Marina is a century-old Italianate villa on Hvar's main waterfront promenade, redesigned in a modern-minimalist style. It sits right on the harbor — the catamaran ferry from Split stops literally outside the front door. Rooms are compact (the standard ones clock in at just 18 sqm), but the location and the view of mega-yachts from the terrace make it genuinely hard to beat. Newly refurbished and part of the Sunčani Hvar Hotels group, this is one of the most coveted addresses on the island.
