Rusty Parrot Lodge and Spa
Mountain-contemporary rustic luxury. Warm and cozy without being kitschy — think leather furniture, stone fireplaces, wildlife art by local artists, and a staff that actually knows your name. Personal service is the headline feature.

Why It Matters
One of Jackson Hole's longest-running boutique institutions, now rebuilt and holding a Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Award (2025) and AAA Four Diamond designation. Member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Rated #1 hotel in the Continental U.S. and Canada by Travel + Leisure readers in 2005. The Wild Sage Restaurant is one of Jackson's top fine-dining destinations, and the Body Sage Spa has a reputation stretching back to 1991.
Originally opened in 1990, the Rusty Parrot is a family-owned, family-operated boutique lodge in downtown Jackson that went through a complete rebuild and came out the other side with sharper edges. Rocky Mountain ruggedness meets crisp contemporary style: handcrafted wood furniture, regionally sourced artwork, Amouage bath products, and Italian linens. Forty rooms and suites, a serious spa, and a restaurant where the chef trained in France. It's not trying to be a resort — and that's exactly the point.
