Why It Matters

The Sofitel Munich Bayerpost sits inside the former Bavarian Royal Post Office — a neoclassical landmark 100 meters from Munich's main train station. The facade is all stately stonework and history, but step inside and it's a completely different story: designer Harald Klein reimagined the interiors from scratch, resulting in 339 rooms and 57 suites wrapped in leather, polished chrome, natural stone, and bold color.
