Soho House Austin is the brand's first club in the southern US, sitting above the Music Lane shopping district on South Congress. Three floors of Texas modernism meet Spanish-colonial design — limewash walls, terracotta tiles, sisal rugs, copper bathtubs in the bigger rooms, and a rooftop pool lined with cacti. The 46 bedrooms are open only to Soho House members or Soho Friends subscribers (a $130/year entry-level membership), and the club spaces require membership too. But the Michelin-key-awarded property pulls off something rare: a brand-new building that genuinely feels like it has age and soul.

The first tier where a freestanding copper bathtub appears in the bathroom — one of the signature details of this house. A sofa at the foot of the bed, modern Spanish and Texan influences throughout. ADA-accessible bathroom option available with roll-in shower, grab bars, and handheld shower head.

A private terrace makes this a big step up. Texan terracotta flooring, multiple seating areas with vintage furnishings, and a freestanding copper bathtub. The small outdoor terrace gives you somewhere to take your morning coffee before the pool opens.

The smallest room in the house — and still warm and thoughtfully done. Modern Spanish influences show up in the coordinating striped headboards and lightweight linen curtains. No sitting area, but you're not really here to stay in the room.

The top of the range at 1,760 sq ft — a full apartment feel with a kitchenette, large seating area, a dining space for up to eight, and a sizable private outdoor terrace. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with light. The kind of room worth going for if you're in Austin for the week.

An intimate music venue inside the House hosting live performances across genres — from country to electronic. Regular live country music performances are a house staple. The Music Room has an adjacent green room with its own entrance and can accommodate up to 125 people for events.
A 46-seat private cinema with velvet armchairs, individual footstools, and cashmere blankets. Weekly program of new and classic films. Adjacent pre-screening bar serves drinks and snacks before shows. The screening room can also be hired for private events.
The rooftop pool is the social center of the property — surrounded by day beds upholstered in a Texas tribal pattern, a cacti-lined path, and a large mural by Dallas artist Desireé Vaniecia. Poolside service runs 11am to 6pm. Cabanas are bookable in advance (email reception.atx@sohohouse.com); unreserved ones are first-come, first-served. Three-hour time limits apply Fri–Sun.
