Soho House Chicago is a 108,000 sq ft members' club and hotel spread across six floors of the 1908 Allis Building — a former belt factory and tannery in the Fulton Market District. Opened in 2014, it's one of the largest Soho Houses in the world, with 40 bedrooms, an 80-ft rooftop pool, a 17,000 sq ft gym with a professional boxing ring, a Cowshed spa, and an art collection of 250+ works. Non-members can book a room and get full club access for the duration of their stay.

The largest room in the House, with original building features floor to ceiling. A freestanding bathtub, a sofa to properly unpack and settle into, and a dining table for two. This is the one that justifies the price on room merits alone — period detailing, generous proportions, full views.

Cosy
The smallest room in the House — compact but thoughtfully fitted. There's enough space for two, and the industrial detailing (exposed brick, raw concrete ceiling) makes it feel intentional rather than cramped. You get the full roster of in-room kit, and the same club access as the biggest room.

Medium
Spacious enough to feel genuinely comfortable. The aesthetic shifts here — turn-of-the-century decor with velvet, veneered furniture, and warm tones replacing the mid-century moodiness of the smaller rooms. Industrial-style windows remain, and a seating area makes it worth the upgrade.

Medium Plus
The key addition here over the Medium is a freestanding bathtub — and it matters. Restored wood flooring adds warmth, and you get a seating area alongside the full ensuite. Same period-inspired decor as the Medium rooms but with more space to breathe.

A step up from Cosy, with large industrial windows — the building's warehouse history on full display. Two armchairs and a table give you somewhere to actually sit and work or decompress. Same mid-century palette and all the same in-room amenities.

The Soho House Chicago art collection numbers more than 250 artworks curated by Francesca Gavin. Highlights include work by Theaster Gates, Kerry James Marshall, Rashid Johnson, Damien Hirst, Wolfgang Tillmans, and Mickalene Thomas. Artwork is distributed throughout the building — lobby, hallways, club floor — making it a living collection rather than a gallery.
One-on-one training sessions in the professional boxing ring inside the gym. The ring was designed in collaboration with Horween Leather Company, Chicago's last remaining tannery — vintage gym aesthetic, real training capability.
A daily timetable of bookable classes including Pilates, yoga, combat, and flow. Bookable via the Soho House app. Complimentary for members and hotel guests.
A 17,000 sq ft second-floor gym with Technogym and Rogue Fitness equipment, free weights, a professional boxing ring, steam rooms, and post-workout lounges. Personal training available for an additional fee.
The House runs a daily calendar of music events, live performances, and members' programming. Events range from live music nights to In Conversations and screenings. Available to members and hotel guests.
A 30-seat plush screening room with cabaret-style seating — tub chairs and table-top lamps. Used for film screenings and private events. Members and guests only.
The Drawing Room functions as a workspace during daytime hours (laptops permitted until 8pm) and converts to ping-pong tables in the evening. Members and hotel guests use it as a social hub.
An 80-ft heated outdoor pool on the sixth floor with views over West Loop. Pool bed reservations open 24 hours in advance through the Soho House app. Each slot is 3.5 hours, and members can bring up to 3 guests Mon–Thu (1 guest Fri–Sun before 5pm, 3 guests after 5pm). Walk-in pool beds are also available.
Split between the ground floor and left-hand mezzanine, the Soho Home Studio has a curated product selection, a full material and swatch library, plus dedicated trade and interior design teams. Open to members and public.
